Texas A&M quarterback Stephen McGee played the first significant minutes of his career as a freshman last year against Oklahoma in Norman.

McGee entered in the second half when starter Reggie McNeil was injured and got the Aggies within striking distance of the Sooners.

Though he was 0-of-6 passing, McGee rushed for 67 yards and guided A&M to 13 points in the final 16 minutes.

The Sooners held on to win 36-30.

The Aggies' leading rusher, 6-foot, 274-pound Jorvorskie Lane outweighs 22 of the 39 defensive linemen on OU's and A&M's roster.

Lane has 124 carries for 554 yards this season, and the big man isn't afraid to get involved in the passing game. But the Sooners already know that.

Lane's longest career reception was a 42-yarder last year against OU.

Texas A&M's Kyle Field has long been regarded as a tough place to play, and the Sooners haven't found an exception to that theory.

Since the inception of the Big 12 Conference in 1996, OU is 2-3 at Kyle Field.

John Blake's teams were 0-2, and Bob Stoops is 2-1. But even the two wins haven't been easy.

OU needed a late interception return by Torrance Marshall to win 35-31 in 2000 and a late defensive stand to hang onto a 42-35 win in 2004.

Texas A&M tight end Martellus Bennett scored two touchdowns, including a 75-yard reception, and true freshman Michael Goodson sealed the game with a 64-yard TD run as the Aggies defeated Baylor 31-21 in Waco, Texas.
