How will defenses approach you now without Adrian Peterson?

"Every time the defense does something, they're going to give you something. Even as good at running back as he was, we've tried to develop a passing game that's competent. Will the running game happen to be a little better because the pass is being defended? That will be determined by the choices defensive coordinators and their staffs make.

How will you adjust?

"We will not become a one-dimensional team."

Does this mean you run quarterback run plays?

"Don't know. To me, we've kind of evolved to this is what we are. Those will be decisions we make (today). Bottom line, you can't just make wholesale changes, because we have evolved to things the quarterback is competent at, the offensive line can handle, the receivers... So I don't think there is going to be a massive amount of change. We've got a lot invested now. We've got 11 weeks of, ‘This is where we're at, what we're doing.' It won't be like tomorrow, there will be a whole different direction this offense will move."

Are you optimistic that you'll get Peterson back, at least for the bowl game?

"I didn't do well enough in science to go to medical school. I just told him, drink a bunch of milk."
