Columnist Berry Tramel looks at the fallout from OU's 28-10 loss to Texas:
• Out-toughed: OU fumbled six times, losing three, and several were caused by solid hitting. Texas didn't fumble. So much for the old theory that the Longhorns are soft.
• Second-half woes: OU had been a second-half team this season, but Texas dominated after intermission.
• Texas momentum: UT has won two straight in this series, and with OU starting over at quarterback and tailback next season, the Longhorns figure to extend their streak in 2007.
• Title hopes gone: The Big 12 is a top-heavy conference. OU's hopes for a conference championship, much less BCS consideration, are gone. Gordon Riese, you're off the hook.
• Heisman hopes: Adrian Peterson's chances at sport's grandest trophy took a hit. A lost fumble, 109 yards on 25 carries, just 38 second-half yards. On his biggest stage, Peterson swayed few voters.
