Lanes reported open; patience urged.
Travelers to the Red River shoot-out in Dallas this weekend should expect relatively few delays.

All lanes of traffic should be open on Oklahoma's side of the border and most, if not all, lanes going into Dallas should be open, transportation officials said.
Both lanes of traffic have been shifted along Interstate 35 in Cleveland County near N 27 Street in Moore and the speed limit is reduced, but the lanes should remain open, said Susan Allison, spokeswoman for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation.
I-35 south of Denton will have intermittent construction zones in place all the way into Dallas, but no lanes are expected to be closed this weekend, said Bill Powell, spokesman for the Texas Department of Transportation.
"People will find it to be fairly easy going, other than slowing down through the work zones," Powell said. "I would just encourage people to leave early and to be patient."
There will be six work zones along I-35 East into Dallas, but none should be active and no lanes should be closed, Powell said.
"Congestion is pretty bad most weekends, and when you add people coming from Oklahoma and northern Texas you can guarantee it is going to be slow going," Powell said.
Cowboy fans might also find things a bit rough on the way to Kansas State. I-35 is narrowed to one lane in both directions near State Highway 51.
