For OU/Texas weekend I plan on taking my wife and kids to breakfast at a popular diner/pancake house here in town. Then we'll go to the zoo and see the flamingos and the new baby giraffe.

Afterwards we'll probably grill out and have a nice afternoon of playing on the swingset and kicking the soccer ball in the backyard.

I can catch the stats for the football games on the internet or ESPN after the kids go to bed. For what its worth, I grew up in Oklahoma and I graduated from OU in 1997.

Most things in life are more important than OU football.

I live in Florida, so there's Florida vs LSU mania this weekend. I'm showing my pride by flying my OU flag on my home, my car and letting anyone who'll listen know that THIS is the GAME OF THE WEEKEND! GO SOONERS!!!!!!!!!!!

We are going to play a round of golf at one of the better golf courses in the state that would usually be too crowded for us to enjoy.

Friday night, I decorate the house up in Crimson and Cream. Bake a cake and decorate it with Red OU and an upside down horn. Saturday morning one hour before kickoff, two beers are poured into the frosted OU mug. (A specific ritual happens before hand). 45 minutes before kickoff, my wife and daughter have their coconut rum pineapple smoothie I make. 28 minutes before kickoff, I take a shot of JD and toast to another Sooner victory. 15 minutes before kickoff, we play the Pride of Oklahoma CD. Meanwhile, Bevo burgers, wings, chips, dip, salsa, armadillo balls, steaks, etc... is ready for the eatin. BOOMER SOONER!!! Beat texas

We always have a tailgate party in our living room for the Red River Shootout. My whole family comes over, sporting their OU attire, and we eat until we can't get out the door. Mom went to WalMart today and got a fruit and vegetable tray, hot wings, taquitos, guacamole, chips, potato skins, pigs in a blanket, brownies and stuff to make my favorite rotel dip! I look forward to this game every year! BOOMER SOONER!!!!

I live in Manhattan, New York City now and I'll be watching the game at a small sports bar with a bunch of OU fans. I'd rather go to some other bigger sports bars in Manhattan, but they'll all be packed with shorthorns.

The question was not specific to only UO fans - try reading. I'll be listening to the OSU game and giving the Sooners just as much support as we get from them. I'm extremely ORANGE!

Since I am in Tennessee, everyone is talking about the Vols and the Dawgs (UT v UGa). Thankfully they moved that game to the evening kickoff so the Sooner faithful here can enjoy the game at the local watering hole / sports bar. Since I have lived her the past 10 years, I have found that you only have to don the Crimson & Cream, and your fellow members of the Sooner Nation start coming out of the woodwork. We meet at Bailey's Sports Bar in Hickory Hollow, and there are usually 50-60 faithful to handily outnumber the opposition. Of course, since the National Championship last year and a certain star QB is now here playing on Sundays, the local 'Horns seem to be a little more willing to come out of the closet. After this Saturday, they will cede the orange back to the Vols and go back in hiding.
Greetings from Nashvegas and Boomer Sooner!!!

Ok, let me clarify something to people that can't read English. I didn't say that ou didn't get ripped off. I agree that both calls were bad ones. But the last series ou had the ball they had 2 minutes + or minus on the clock. ou threw incomplete passes and had Adrian run out of bounds stopping the clock. If ou had done their job, there is no time on the clock at all. Not enough time for onside kick to happen. But we will wait too see what the complaints are about this week.

As a native Midwest City Bomber I will be in my home of San Diego with thousands of Longhorn haters, hoping that Bob Stoops stops tryig to win Adrian Peterson the Heisman and starts caring about the whole team. Bob, San diegans say stop running AP up the middle on first down! My grandmother has your offensive scheme figured out! That being said, OU can easily win if it plays to its potential. We have our OU flags flying on our homes all over San Diego. It will be one rocking party when we knock off the heifer-heads. Texas has only played one decent team and got ripped! They are not that good. Ohio State showed us all they are not that good. I keep waiting for litle Colt to get sacked and yell, "Lassie, help me!" By the way Jeff, If you don't know the Sooners were ripped off by Oregon officials, you're the most ignorant Longhorn in the herd. Better go back for a seventh year, that six year degree didn't take!

I will be at a friends house with fellow Longhorn Fans. We will no doubt have to listen to OU whine after the game just like they did with Oregon. The funny thing is that If ou would have had proper clock management during that game it would have been over before those calls ever happened. No one here seems to remember that part. This game will be won by Texas 35-14

It's funny to see all the lOSUers people coming into a blog that talks about OU. Calling OU fans as whiners, cry-babies, etc...But, if you read all of their messages, it sounds like they're the ones that are whining about not getting enough coverage for their team. Here's my solution for that LOSUers, start playing decent Division 1 teams and actually win them, then you'll get the same media coverage! Getting beat by Houston is not something to cry about! Freakin' lOSUers! I'll be watching OU's defense taking their frustration out on the shorthorns!

I'll be watching it at home here in Hartington Nebraska. After the Sooners beat down the short horns, I'll be wearing my inverted horns hat and making fun of Cornstinker fans after they lose to Iowa State. Boomer Sooner.

Well for starters I start hating Texas for the next year(never can be to early). My folks are coming here to Atlanta from Tulsa mainly to celebrate my sons 2nd birthday. He was born just in time for the 2004 RRR. This year will be spent sitting in front of the new big screen HDTV with family and friends and watch the Sooners win with a last second field goal 23-21.

I will be listening to OSU vs. KSTATE Instead of the Red River Crying Game. We all know if OU loses the media and all the namby-pamby Sooner Fans will be crying a river. Whose fault will it be this week the refs, the sun, the moon, the stars, God. My Cowboys may not be the best team in the land; however, at least we cowboy fans can take a loss like adults. We do not spend the next week after a game crying like toddlers in our beer and on our favorite sports radio station.
