Both schools turn down ABC's effort to play a night game

Imagine a Ferris wheel revolving in the backdrop of the Cotton Bowl , the same obligatory shot ABC television uses during the yearly telecast of the Oklahoma-Texas football game.

Now picture that scene in front of the Texas night sky, a rainbow of lights twirling along with the Ferris wheel.
