Paul Thompson:The evolution of Thompson continued as he led a versatile attack, contributing big plays through the air. He finished 21-for-33 passing with two touchdowns.

Special teams: Across the board, the Sooners dominated the kicking game. Jason Carter blocked one punt and hurried another; Reggie Smith returned a punt 62 yards; and Garrett Hartley was a perfect 3-for-3 on field goal tries and continually put kickoffs into the end zone.

Offensive line: The men up front failed to consistently create running lanes and were the major contributor to OU’s seven penalties. The Huskies didn’t record a sack, but linebacker Chris Stevens forced a Thompson fumble with a speed rush that nailed the quarterback in his own end zone.
