Oklahoma-based Rocketplane Kistler is partnering with a rocket manufacturing company to compete for a NASA contract to build a rocket-powered vehicle that would re-supply the International Space Station.

The partnership between Rocketplane Kistler and Orbital Sciences Corp. brings resources to Rocketplane and could create additional work in Oklahoma, said Randy Brinkley, president of Rocketplane Kistler.

Orbital Sciences, based in Dulles, Va., has agreed to provide $10 million to Rocketplane as part of the partnership. The
