ARDMORE -- University of Oklahoma regents voted today to raise tuition and fees by 5.8 percent for in-state undergraduate students.

The increase will cost students $281 more each school year, bringing annual tuition and fees to about $5,109. The cost for an out-of-state undergraduate student will be about $13,398 a year.

Tuition itself will go up 5 percent for in-state students -- to $100.20 per credit hour -- and 5 percent for students from outside Oklahoma -- to $276.30 per credit hour.
