"The men and women who serve this country are guardians of freedom and protectors of our nation," Director Kari Watkins said of the memorial's Armed Forces Day offer. "We are grateful for their service, and we wanted to give them the opportunity to experience this place of hope and resilience."

The museum will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, with ticket sales ending at 5 p.m.
