Funding for state centennial projects totaling $17 million won Senate approval.
Senate Bill 1193 provides $16 million for the Oklahoma Centennial Commission.
The money, part of a $183.8 million supplemental funding agreement reached last week, would provide $4 million for centennial projects in Oklahoma City, $4 million for Tulsa and $8 million for projects across the state.
Senators also approved Senate Bill 1263, which would give $1 million to the state Commerce Department to secure contracts for the largest of the events, officials said.
Both measures go to the House of Representatives.
