Concert to kick off centennial

The first city event for the state's 100th birthday will be tonight's Centennial Celebration Concert.

The concert, featuring choral and band students from Guthrie High School and Guthrie Junior High School, will begin at 7 p.m. in the Masonic Temple's main auditorium, 900 E Oklahoma Street.

Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for students, with children under 12 getting in free.
