Executive Director Kari Watkins said the memorial's Second Decade campaign raised $7,350,240.
Frank Hill, chairman of the Oklahoma City National Memorial Foundation, said the campaign's success ensures the memorial can continue "to teach the lessons of how terror was transformed to hope."
Watkins said donations were received from about 1,000 donors, "ranging from $1 and $10 gifts to $10,000 and up to $500,000."
Recent gifts from the Jewish Federation of Greater Oklahoma City, PowerSmith Cogeneration Project, C.H. Guernsey & Co., Judge and Mrs. Frederick Daugherty, the Murrah Family Trust, Ann Murrah Shaw, Paul and Florence Murrah, Express Personnel Services, Gardner Tanenbaum Group and Trigen-Oklahoma City Corp. helped the campaign surpass its goal, she said.
Watkins said the campaign funds will be funneled into an endowment and the interest used to pay expenses not covered by museum admissions, store sales and the annual marathon.
Watkins said additional tax-deductible donations are still welcome.
