Philharmonic to unwrap ‘A Very Merry Pops’
Isn’t it interesting how our perception of the Christmas season changes as we age? Children busy themselves writing letters to Santa and hope the weather forecast includes snow. Teens look for ways to assert their independence and prefer to celebrate a cool yule instead of a merry Christmas.
OU concert set to feature bass-baritone
NORMAN — Robert Hale, a world-renowned bass-baritone and University of Oklahoma alumnus, will perform with the OU Symphony Orchestra at 8 p.m. Friday in Catlett Music Center’s Sharp Concert Hall, 500 W Boyd St. The concert is part of the OU School of Music’s Sutton Concert Series.
