Ki Bois Community Action Foundation received $270,000 to provide home buyer assistance to 36 families in Haskell, Latimer, Leflore and Pittsburg counties, plus $10,800 for administration.

Drive to help nonprofits

The American Institute of Architects Central Oklahoma Chapter is inviting local nonprofit organizations to submit applications to be its beneficiary group during Architecture Week activities April 13-19, 2009.

The selected organization will receive 20 percent of the net funds generated from Architecture Week activities for two years. To be eligible for selection, a nonprofit must operate an office and provide services in Central Oklahoma, demonstrate a need and plan for the funds, be willing to promote Architecture Week, and provide volunteers.

Applications can be downloaded at www.aiacoc.org.

Local brokers join forces

Retail property brokers Mark Inman and Stuart Graham have joined together as the Inman Graham Retail Group at CB Richard Ellis-Oklahoma in Oklahoma City.

Graham joined CB Richard Ellis last year. Graham and Inman, already a retail broker with CB Richard Ellis, joined resources rather than "calling on the same prospects and scratching for the same real estate deals,” Inman said.
