1 dead, 4 injured in overnight Oklahoma City crash

One person is dead and four others are in the hospital after a late-night crash in northwest Oklahoma City.

About 11:15 p.m. Sunday a driver apparently lost control near NW 10th and Shawnee Avenue, according to an Oklahoma City television station.

The car veered off the roadway and hit several cars underneath an awning at an automobile repair shop, the TV station reports.

Four people have been taken to OU Medical center, the station reports.
